I absolutely loved this piercing look of this bison bull. I guess it was good that I was in a vehicle tootling around Custer State Park.
I felt I was in a smorgasbord of total bliss with soooooo many bison, so many choices to produce paintings. This guy took my breath away, as he seemed to casually, just stand by the winding road deciding if he was going to cross or not.
Meanwhile, I really got to feast my eyes on him and melt with the pensive look he had in his eyes. One good note of interest. A friend of mine once asked me why did I paint bison? Silly question. She surmised they all looked alike.
Seriously? They are as different in looks as people are.
