Knight in White Satin 1

When I visit a Texas Longhorn ranch, I love looking at all the varied colors, horns, different looks, and just get overwhelmed with the smorgasbord of incredible beauty on four feet. They are like flowers, they are all quite different.

Going through my hundreds and hundreds of photos of Longhorn, I always see something different. I can take 300 photos and come up with only one that is a wow factor, until I look again. You always see something different. Take the white steer with black markings that looks absolutely delicious in the morning hours. I was taken back, that Knight in White Satin I depiction was found in the Plains of Virginia, while White Satin II was discovered on a ranch around Lampasas, Texas. You can see subtle differences, but that’s just about sums it up.
