As you may recall, we visited a Longhorn auction in Culpeper, VA a couple of weeks ago, and I promised that we would show you some of the potential subjects we photographed. We were very fortunate, because we saw and were able to photograph a number of beautiful cows and calves as well as a few fantastic bulls. Kathy has not yet decided what she will paint out of this set of candidates or when. This blog is about longhorns, and the next one will be about bison, which we photographed the same day.
