I am really enjoying this speckled longhorn bull. I got him all sketched in and for some reason I went right to the horns to paint first. I was rather taken aback because I usually leave the horns to right before I paint the eyes. Wonders never cease!!! I am filling in the folds of skins now and marking where everything fits together. Next, I will paint the bull’s face before I start on the neck. Hopefully, I will have this bull painted before my photographer comes next Friday to take photos of my group of 9 or 10 paintings.
